Intended purpose
The spinal cord stimulator (SCS) system is indicated as an aid in the management of chronic intractable pain of the trunk and limbs. The lead is MR conditional.
Functional description
A flexible wire with multiple electrodes that connects to an implantable pulse generator (IPG). The IPG sends electrical pulses through the lead to the spinal cord.
