Intended purpose
The Evoke System is a spinal cord stimulation (SCS) system which stimulates the nerves in the spinal cord, measures their responses and automatically adjusts the stimulation level accordingly. It is intended to aid in the management of chronic intractable pain of the lower back and/or legs. The Evoke Pocket Console (EPC) is intended to allow patients to wirelessly control their therapy and monitor their spinal cord stimulator. The EPC kit includes a magnet which stops stimulation from the spinal cord stimulator without using the EPC.
Functional description
The Evoke Pocket Console is a handheld battery-operated external device for patient use. It communicates wirelessly with the spinal cord stimulator to enable patients to control their therapy and monitor the stimulator.
