Intended purpose

The Evoke System is a spinal cord stimulation (SCS) system which stimulates the nerves in the spinal cord, measures their responses and automatically adjusts the stimulation level accordingly. It is intended to aid in the management of chronic intractable pain of the lower back and/or legs. The Evoke Clinical System Transceiver (CST) is a radio telemetry device intended to enable the wireless exchange of information between the spinal cord stimulator and programming software. The CST is connected to a computer (loaded with the programming software) via a USB connector and receives power via this link.
