Corheart 6 - Implantable ventricular circulatory assist system

Intended purpose

The Corheart 6 Left Ventricular Assist System is designed to provide mechanical support to the circulatory system. It is implanted into the left ventricle apex during cardiac surgery, which is intended to unload the left ventricle and provide mechanical circulatory support through a parallel pathway with the native circulatory system. It can be used as a bridge to heart transplantation, myocardial recovery, or a destination therapy.
