Intended purpose
A material that is used in dentistry containing an alginate which after mixing with water, is capable of reacting to form a material suitable for taking dental impressions of the teeth and gums. Dental alginates are used to take the impression of a patient's teeth to fabricate dentures, crown, bridges, and implants for the patient.
