Intended purpose

To be used during assisted reproduction techniques for the retrieval, holding and washing of human oocytes.

Functional description

Provides a medium for use during the retrieval of human oocytes by aspiration from the ovarian follicle. Serves to provide an environment to minimise exposure of the oocytes to non-physiological conditions and wash human oocytes before ICSI procedures.
