PVP - In vitro fertilization culture medium

Intended purpose

To be used as part of assisted reproductive techniques to slow down the movement of sperm as required for ICSI (Intracytoplasmic sperm Injection).

Functional description

Functions by immobilising spermatozoa without impairing acrosome reaction thereby making them easier to catch with an ICSI pipette whilst providing suitable physical and chemical conditions for the sperm.
