Intended purpose

Intended for use in IVF procedures that may require small volumes of tissue culture medium to be covered with a relatively inert, nonmiscible liquid component that allows diffusion of gases. Such procedures include in vitro fertilization and embryo culture and micromanipulative procedures such as ICSI and assisted hatching.
