BlastGen - In vitro fertilization culture medium

Intended purpose

BlastGen is for the culture of 4-8 cell stage human embryos to the blastocyst stage. BlastGen may also be used for embryo transfer.

Functional description

Medium is equilibrated for a minimum of 2 hrs in 5-6% CO2 at 37 degrees. Following initial culture in EmbryoGen, embryos are washed and transferred to fresh microdrops or wells of BlastGen. Dishes are returned to the incubator until blastocyst formation on day 5 or 6. The embryos can be prepared and transferred to the uterus in pre-equilibrated BlastGen.
