Sperm Preparation Medium 1070 (with phenol red) - In vitro fertilization culture medium

Intended purpose

For washing of sperm and isolation of motile viable sperm by swim-up method. This product is for Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) laboratory procedures. The product should only be used by professionals trained in ART treatment.

Functional description

Prior to use, this medium must be pre-equilibrated in a CO2 incubator at 37°C. The suggested pH range for Sperm Preparation Medium is 7.4 ± 0.2. The time required to achieve full equilibration depends on the volume of medium. The product is used according to standard principles within the ART laboratory. Contains phenol red as a pH indicator and contrast agent.
