Infrared-light vein locater

Intended purpose

A portable, battery operated, hand-held instrument that uses infrared light to detect certain peripheral veins beneath the skin and illuminate the position of the veins on the skin surface directly above the veins so that a medical professional can observe the displayed vasculature which will assist in locating certain superficial veins in connection with medical procedures, such as venipuncture.
