Infusion pump medication dosage application software

Intended purpose

This software program faciltates the management of medication error prevention and is designed to be used with programmable infusion pumps. The program enables the clinician to develop multiple user defined drug libraries within set parameters,maintained on an independant PC workstation,then upload the information into the infusion pump as part of the programming process. The software is designed to provide a complete history of the infusion, including bolus doses activated by the clinician and patient, pump alarm history and syringe changes, which is downloaded to the PC for review.
