Infusion pump medication dosage application software

Intended purpose

A various group of softwre programs, routines or algorithms that enable the user to create, maintain, modify and store delivery parameters (protocols) for delivery of medication by an infusion pump which is used in a hospital or institution or used for ambulatory purposes. A set of applications programs and routines may be included with such infusion/syringe pumps and they can be upgraded to add new system capabilities. Applications program packages are typically identified by a proprietary name and "version" or "upgrade" number- an example being (not limited too) Alaris System Manager and Guardrails Editor Software.
