Intended purpose

Bone plates are intended for the internal fixation of small bone fragments that have been damaged by trauma or require reconstruction. The deformable burr hole cover plates are intended for covering trephination holes and for refixing bone covers during intracranial operations. Bone screws are used to fix the bone plates in their final position and to fix small bone fragments.
