Intended purpose

Intended for endoscopic surgery in the central nervous system and serves for the creation and preservation of a temporary access channel to the operation.

Functional description

The single-use MINOP Introducer is intended to create and maintain temporary access to the patient’s ventricular system during procedures. It comprises two interlocked components: an obturator and a sheath. The sheath is designed to be cleaved axially and folded back to the cranial surface for atraumatic removal while preserving the access canal.
