Intended purpose

Intended for use with a compatible skull clamp (MAYFIELD® type) that is placed on the patient’s skull to hold the head and neck in a particular position during surgical procedures where rigid skeleton fixation is desired and intra-operative computer tomography (CT) is used. The Sterile Radiolucent Skull Pins are indicated for use in open and percutaneous craniotomies.
