ASAHI Corsair Pro Microcatheters - Intravascular microflow catheter

Intended purpose

The ASAHI Corsair Pro and Pro XS microcatheters are intended to provide support to facilitate the placement of guide wires in the coronary and peripheral vasculature, and can be used to exchange one guide wire for another. The ASAHI Corsair Pro and Pro XS are also intended to assist in the delivery of contrast media into the coronary, peripheral and abdominal vasculature. This device is not intended for use in neurovasculature.

Functional description

ASAHI Corsair Pro & Pro XS microcatheters are designed to support guidewire placement and exchange during PCI under fluoroscopy. It also provides support to the guidewire to prevent kinking and prolapse of the wire, improves wire maneuverability, allows for frequent wire exchanges or tip reshaping, and can be used to deliver highly-specific contrast injections from the tip.The distal tip is radiopaque to ensure visualisation under fluoroscopy.
