Intended purpose
Flo-Resters are used to internally occlude blood vessels during anastomosis. The occluder bulbs are inserted proximally and distally through the vessel opening. The occluder bulbs allow a dry field to be maintained during the anastomosis of a bypassed graft or the suturing of two cut ends of a vessel. A pull tab allows the Flo-Rester to be easily removed prior to the final sutures being tied.
