Intended purpose

A device intended to be used during general-purpose surgery in order to irrigate and also aspirate body cavities and sites of intervention with a fluid to provide a continuous flushing effect. It will be used for the removal of, e.g. debris, tissue or fluids from the site and will assist the operator by keeping the site cleared and improving the field of observation. This may also improve access to a site during the intervention.
