Intended purpose

Model 5071 is a sutureless, unipolar, myocardial screw-in lead designed for ventricular pacing and sensing and has application where permanent ventricular or dual-chamber pacing systems are indicated.

Functional description

The leads screw-in electrode is designed to be secured to the myocardium with 2 clockwise turns. A polyester mesh allows fibrous ingrowth for additional fixation. The lead features a MP35N nickel alloy conductor, silicone rubber insulation and unipolar connector (IS-1 UNI)
