Intended purpose

The lead is designed for use in combination with a compatible pulse generator to provide long-term stimulation and sensing of the left ventricle via the great cardiac vein or one of its tributaries.

Functional description

The QuickFlex? ? Model 1258T lead is a bipolar left heart lead with Titanium Nitride (TiN) coated platinum/ iridium tip and ring electrodes, designed for use with implantable pulse generators for long-term cardiac pacing and sensing. The lead can be positioned in an appropriate left-heart pacing site using either stylet placement or ?over-the-wire? guidewire placement.
