Intended purpose

The extracortical femoral button is used for reconstructive treatment of ligament ruptures as well as for femoral fixation of an implanted cruciate ligament replacement. The femoral button is intended for reconstructive therapy of ruptures to the anterior and posterior cruciate ligament by means of autologous grafts.
