Intended purpose

This is a device functioning as both a light source and a processing unit intended to be used together with endoscopes, primarily video endoscopes. This will provide the light for viewing the surgical fields and body cavities and for receiving the electronic image signals for processing to signals that can be displayed on a monitor.
