Intended purpose

A substance used to supplement the lubricating/moisturizing function provided by the secretion of tears to the eye. Provides relief of the symptoms of irritated, dry, tired and strained eyes including those associated with the use of a PC, infrequent blinking, certain medical treatments/conditions, atmospheric pollution, dry atmospheres, for example air conditioning, travelling especially air travel, central heating, wind and sun and ophthalmic stress due to the use of contact lenses. Decreases the symptoms of dry eyes such as redness, burning, itching and foreign body sensation helping to restore the natural ocular film. Suitable for contact wearers without the need to remove them.
