Intended purpose
iGel is intended to moisten the eyes and is compatible with contact lenses. iGel protects and moistens the surface of the eye. It is intended for application on the outer surface of the eye to lubricate the eyes and decrease discomfort associated with: • chronic dry eye symptoms (Sjögren 's Syndrome) • corneal injuries, corneal erosion, corneal surgery • wearing hard and soft contact lenses • hormonal imbalances (menopause) • environmental stress induced by air conditioning, wind, cold climate, sun, dry heat, dust, smoke and air pollution • digital eye strain from computers or TV, long car journeys or flights • swimming in chlorine containing water
