Intended purpose

Siccaforte is used as a replacement for the natural tear fluid to moisten and lubricate the surface of the eye in order to relieve irritation of the eye. Therefore, it gives long lasting relief of dry eyes caused by: • chronic dry eye symptoms (Sjögren 's Syndrome) • corneal injuries, corneal erosion, corneal surgery • hormonal imbalances (menopause) • environmental stress induced by air conditioning, wind, cold climate, sun, dry heat, dust, smoke and air pollution • digital eye strain from computers or TV, long car journeys or flights • the use of certain medicines (e.g., antidepressant, antihistaminic, neuroleptic, hormones) • swimming in chlorine containing water
