Delta One TT Spacer Ti6Al4V - Metallic acetabular liner

Intended purpose

The inner portion of a two-piece acetabulum prosthesis. It is sterile and provides the articulating surface for the acetabulum prosthesis, after insertion into an acetabulum prosthesis shell.

Functional description

The spacer is inerted between the Acetabular shell and Liner of a an acetabular prosthesis to re-establish the centre of rotation and the coverage and ante-version angles in a hip replacement. A liner is inserted into this to provide the articulation surface for the femoral head.
