Procotyl® P PS Acetabular Shell with HA - Metallic acetabulum prosthesis

Intended purpose

Procotyl® P is intended for use in total hip arthroplasty for reduction or relief of pain and/or improved hip function in skeletally mature patients.

Functional description

Procotyl® P PS is an acetabular shell manufactured from titanium (Ti6Al4V) alloy. It is coated double layer of pure Ti and hydroxyapatite (HA). The subject device is available in both a solid (without screw holes) and a quad (with 3 screw holes) configuration. The shell is used with Procotyl P Acetabular Liners as part of a total hip system. The apical hole plug can be used with the device if desired.
