Intended purpose

The SJM Tailor™ annuloplasty ring is intended for use in mitral or tricuspid valve repair.

Functional description

The SJM Tailor™ Annuloplasty Ring is a fully flexible annuloplasty device for use in the repair of diseased or damaged mitral or tricuspid valves. The flexibility will allow the prostheses to adapt to the continuous changes in annular size and shape that occur with each cardiac cycle. The Ring has the option to be cut within a cut zone creating a C-ring enabling the surgeon to custom fit the ring to meet the patients’ needs.
