Intended purpose
The Rigid Saddle Ring is intended for use in mitral valve repair.
Functional description
The Rigid Saddle ring is constructed from a titanium core that allows for radiopaque visualization and is covered by a double‑velour, polyester fabric sewing cuff. The saddle‑shaped design of the ring is intended to mimic the anatomic configuration of the native human mitral valve annulus in systole. The ring is mounted on a ring holder to aid in the implant procedure.
