e.motion PS Pro Meniscal Component - Mobile-bearing total knee prosthesis

Intended purpose

The implant is used as a component part of a human knee endoprosthesis in combination with e.motion mobile bearing knee endoprosthetic components. Indicated for use as a mobile bearing PE insert that acts as a spacer and bearing insert between femoral and tibial components in total knee arthroplasty. e.motion® Pro is indicated for patients requiring primary surgery and indicated for severe knee joint conditions that cannot be treated through other therapies: - Degenerative osteoarthritis - Rheumatoid arthritis - Posttraumatic arthritis - Symptomatic knee instability - Knee stiffness - Deformation of the knee joint

Functional description

The e.motion PS Pro Meniscal Component is the posterior stabilised Pro mobile bearing rotating meniscus that acts as a spacer and bearing insert between femoral and tibial components in total knee arthroplasty. It is made from UHMWPE and is equipped with an emergency rotation stop. The rotation stop limits rotation of the meniscus component to ± 30°.
