Intended purpose

The Medtronic Clinician Programmer Software A610 is intended for use by clinicians in the programming of neurostimulators (external and implantable) for deep brain stimulation (DBS).

Functional description

Software application installed on an off-the-shelf Mobile Platform, a non-medical device. It provides the user interface for clinicians to configure stimulation and obtain diagnostic information from an implantable or external neurostimulator. It also facilitates implant and replacement procedures and generates reports. The application also enables activation of the optional aDBS functionality within a Percept PC or RC INS and its associated patient programmer for Parkinsons patients.
