Clinician Programmer – PSM1001 - Multi-purpose electrical stimulation system programmer

Intended purpose

The Clinician programmer Model is one of the external devices of the PINSTM Deep Brain Stimulation System. It enables physicians to remotely program and control the pulse generator.

Functional description

The clinician programmer consists of a Tablet PC and a programming wand. PINS programming and control firmware is installed in the Tablet PC. The Tablet PC sends commands or receives data to/from the programming wand via Bluetooth, and the wand then sends/receives the information to/from the IPG via the inductive telemetry.
