Patient Programmer A620 - Multi-purpose electrical stimulation system programmer

Intended purpose

The patient programming application provides the user interface for patients to adjust therapy and obtain system information from an implantable neurostimulator as part of a neurostimulation system for deep brain stimulation therapy.

Functional description

The Patient Programmer Application A620 software loaded on the COTS handset is utilized by the patient to view therapy settings and battery status, as well to adjust DBS therapy within clinician-defined parameters. When Adaptive Therapy (aDBS) is enabled, the therapy automatically adjusts based on the clinician's configuration. Patients are able to pause aDBS, turn therapy off, and change groups when aDBS is active.
