Intended purpose

A Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) Pump designed to be used in conjunction with NPWT Dressings. It is indicated for use on patients that would benefit from negative pressure wound therapy as the device may promote wound healing by the removal of low to moderate exudates and infectious material. Appropriate wound types include: closed surgical incisions, chronic, acute, traumatic, subacute and dehisced wounds, partial thickness burns, ulcers (such as diabetic or pressure), flaps & grafts. It is a single patient use device.
