Vercise M8 Adapter - Neural-tissue electrical stimulation lead adaptor

Intended purpose

The Vercise Adapter M8 is intended to connect compatible Medtronic Lead Extensions to the compatible Boston Scientific Implantable Pulse Generator (IPG).

Functional description

The Vercise M8 Adapter is designed to connect the Medtronic Lead Extension to the Vercise IPG when a Medtronic deep brain stimulator is being revised. The previously implanted Medtronic lead, Medtronic lead extension and the connection remain intact. A set screw mechanism is provided to retain the Medtronic lead.
