Intended purpose

The Precision Adapter S8 is intended to connect compatible St. Jude (Abbott) Leads or Lead Extensions to the compatible Boston Scientific Implantable Pulse Generator (IPG), OR Cables and/or Lead Extensions.

Functional description

The Precision Adapter S8 is an insulated wire designed to connect compatible Abbott (St. Jude Medical) Lead/Lead Extensions via an 8-contact distal receptacle to the compatible Boston Scientific Implant Pulse Generator (IPG), O.R. Cable, or Lead extension via an 8-contact proximal tail.
