Wallaby Avenir Coil System - Neurovascular embolization coil

Intended purpose

The Wallaby Avenir™ Coil System is indicated for the endovascular embolization of intracranial aneurysms and other neurovascular abnormalities, such as arteriovenous malformations and arteriovenous fistulae.

Functional description

The Wallaby Avenir™ Coil System (ACS) consists of a platinum implantable coil attached to a delivery pusher. The delivery pusher provides a means to deliver the embolization coil to the vascular target treatment site and is designed to mechanically detach the coil from the delivery pusher. Once a frame has been established by one or more Framing coils, additional ACS Framing coil, Filling coils, and Finishing coils can be deployed to provide embolization of the aneurysm or lesion.
