Neutral-pressure needleless valve-connector

Intended purpose

A bidirectional valve allowing injections to be given or samples taken via an intravenous line; or samples taken via arterial line. It seals and protects the line when it is not activated. Intended to mate two related intravenous (IV) line devices and hold them in a secured, sealed, locked position until disconnection, at which point there is minimal fluid flow into or out of the catheter/tubing. Connects to all kinds of ISO certified simple Luer or Luer lock, except those with an internal diameter less than 1.5mm.
