Pinnacle Marathon Acetabular Liner - Non-constrained polyethylene acetabular liner

Intended purpose

As part of a Total hip arthroplasty, the Pinnacle Marathon Acetabular Liner is intended to provide increased patient mobility and reduce pain by replacing the damaged hip joint articulation in patients where there is evidence of sufficient sound bone to seat and support the components.

Functional description

The Pinnacle Marathon Acetabular Liner is constructed from cross-linked UHMWPE and has an inner diameter corresponding to the outer diameter of the femoral head with which it articulates. The outer diameter of the liner corresponds to the inner diameter of the acetabular shell which it snap-locks into.
