Intended purpose

An acetabular liner component of the PROCOTYL L acetabular cup system indicated for use in use in total hip arthroplasty for reduction or relief of pain and/or improved hip function in skeletally mature patients with the following conditions: 1. non-inflammatory degenerative joint disease such as osteoarthritis.

Functional description

The subject device is a crosslinked polyethylene acetabular liner. The liner is available in various sizes ranging from 28mm to 36mm (inner diameter) and Group B to Group G (outer diameter). This liner is used in combination with the PROCOTYL® L acetabular cups.
