Intended purpose

An acetabular liner component of the PROCOTYL L acetabular cup system indicated for use in use in total hip arthroplasty for reduction or relief of pain and/or improved hip function in skeletally mature patients with the following conditions: 1. non-inflammatory degenerative joint disease such as osteoarthritis.

Functional description

The subject device is a crosslinked polyethylene acetabular liner with a 15º lip to provide additional patient stability and a reduced dislocation risk by offering an increased surface area. The liner features 6 sizes, ranging from 28mm to 36mm (inner diameter) and Group B to Group G (outer diameter). This liner insert is used with the PROCOTYL® L acetabular cups.
