Intended purpose

The NOVAE CI E Mobile Insert is a sterile component of the Novae dual mobility system, which is designed to increase joint stability and reduce surface wear. The distinctive geometry of this retentive insert provides articulation around the prosthetic head resulting in a very stable implant that reproduces the natural anatomy and movement of the joint. The NOVAE E TH, SUNFIT TH, STICK and COPTOS TH metal-back acetabular cups can be assembled only with the NOVAE CI E Mobile Insert.

Functional description

The NOVAE CI E Mobile Insert is manufactured from ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene and provides dual articulation between the metal-back acetabular cups and a ceramic or metal head.
