Intended purpose

INLOCK X is a single-use highly crosslinked ultra high molecular weight polyethylene XPE (ASTM F2565) acetabular insert, designed to be mounted in the acetabular shell APRIL Poly, HILOCK, HILOCK Line or HILOCK Rev. The implant is sterile and the intended use is defined by the intended use of the chosen shell. Indications Primary or secondary coxarthrosis, Femoral head fracture or necrosis, Femoral neck fracture, Inflammatory arthritis (rheumatoid arthritis, etc.), Dysplasia, Congenital hip dislocation.

Functional description

The inner portion of a two-piece acetabulum prosthesis, to articulate with an artificial Femoral Head as part of a Total Hip Arthroplasty. The device is made of highly cross-linked Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene and is designed to be used with the April poly, HILOCK, HILOCK Line or HILOCK Rev Acetabular Shell. The cup interior is designed with teeth to ensure long-term stability of the insert and to minimize micro-movements
