Intended purpose

The G7 Vivacit-E Vitamin E Highly Crosslinked Polyethylene Liners are part of the G7 Acetabular System, which is a modular acetabular system consisting of a shell, liner and optional screws and are intended for use with either primary or revision hip arthroplasties, in cemented or uncemented

Functional description

The G7 Vivacit-E Poly Liners are infused with Vitamin E which acts to maximize polyethylene strength, wear resistance and oxidative resistance. Intended to mate with a compatible shell and secured by engaging the polyethylene barb and groove locking mechanism. Also intended to articulate against a compatible femoral head, which in turn mates with a femoral hip prosthesis. The ID of the liner must match the OD of the selected femoral head.
