Intended purpose

The AED is intended to be used to treat someone who is unresponsive, non-breathing and pulseless for the adult and pediatric in all area of a hospital, pre-hospital, public access, alternate care and home healthcare environment. AED is designed to easy to use.

Functional description

An Automated External Defibrillator system used to help save lives by providing rapid delivery of defibrillation to victims/patients experiencing Sudden Cardiac Arrest. A lightweight, portable device with a built-in computer that first checks a victim’s heart rhythm through adhesive electrode-containing pads that are appropriately applied to chest of the patient. If defibrillation is needed, a recorded voice and/or visual cue on the AED prompts the user, to press the shock button on the AED.
