Intended purpose

A portable semi-automatic external defibrillator (AED) system intended to analyse the electrocardiogram (ECG) in a patient and deliver a defibrillator shock based on the recommendation of the data received. It is attached to the patient through a pair of adhesive defibrillation electrodes that serve both to monitor the ECG and to deliver the defibrillator discharges. It is accessible to be operated by a layperson.
