Intended purpose

HeartSave myPAD 678 devices are designed to be used in case of suspected sudden cardiac arrest, to guide the operator to start resuscitation, to analyze victim’s ECG, to deliver defibrillation therapy through self-adhesive electrodes in case of a shockable rhythm and to guide the operator to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Functional description

The HeartSave myPAD 678 is an semi-automatic external defibrillator (AED) with integrated Single Channel ECG. ECG is recorded using the electrodes. The device can detect potentially fatal heart arrhythmia and generates the electric shock needed to bring the patient back to consciousness (defibrillation). This method is the generally recognized therapy. The HeartSave myPAD 678 is equipped with a shock button, touch display, electrodes, WLAN and LTE configuration, CPR sensor and battery.
