Intended purpose

This diagnostic digital detector based planar (two dimensional) nuclear medicine imaging system is intended to be installed and used in only one location within an imaging facility. It is intended to use Anger or non-Anger detection methods to record, quantify and analyse radionuclide emissions (primarily gamma rays) produced during the decay of radiopharmaceuticals or other radiation emitting materials injection into, or ingested by, a patient.
