Intended purpose

A hand piece and electrode intended to be used as an active monopolar pencil and electrode with an electrosurgery generator system for a number of different electrosurgical procedures. The electrode on the hand piece can be changed to the surgeons choice for the procedure being performed. The hand piece when connected to a smoke evacuation and filter unit, the device facilitates the removal of surgical smoke from the operative site.
